AMIR’s ED Participates in SACCA Regional Forum 2025 in Uganda

AMIR Executive Director Participates in SACCA Regional Forum 2025 held in Kampala, Uganda and Engages with ASIGMA on Strategic Collaboration.

During the forum, Mr. Kwikiriza visited ASIGMA, one of AMIR’s key partners, to discuss the ongoing development of a Management Information System (MIS) tailored for AMIR’s member MFIs and SACCOs.

The MIS initiative—comprising a fact sheet and data compiler—is a strategic move aimed at enhancing coordination, data-driven decision-making, and organizational performance across the sector.

As an evidence-based organization aligned with its strategic goals, AMIR is committed to strengthening coordination mechanisms among its members.

The MIS will serve as a centralized platform for joint reporting on financial and social performance, providing real-time dashboards, analytics, charts, and infographics.

They also explored additional areas for potential collaboration, such as monitoring and evaluation systems, Agriculture digital systems, fund management and research and information sharing.
